Centre of Advanced Manufacturing

The Centre of Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) is established to provide students, researchers, and industry professionals with hands-on exposure to modern machining and manufacturing practices. Equipped with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, the centre aims to bridge the gap between conventional manufacturing and Industry 4.0-enabled smart production systems.

Objectives

  • To provide practical training in CNC turning, milling, and drilling operations.
  • To enhance students’ knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
  • To promote industry–academia collaboration for research, prototyping, and consultancy.
  • To develop skilled manpower for the manufacturing sector aligned with NEP-2020 and Skill India Mission.
  • To encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in product design and rapid manufacturing.
