About the E-Cell

The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of R.R. Institute of Modern Technology aims to ignite the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. It serves as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their creative ideas into successful ventures. The Cell provides exposure, mentorship, and resources to develop entrepreneurial skills and nurture leadership qualities among students.

E-Cell promotes a culture where students learn by doing — from ideation to execution — and understand the dynamics of startups, innovation, and business management in the real world.

Vision

To create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that inspires students to become innovators, job creators, and change-makers contributing to national development.

Mission

  • To encourage students to identify opportunities and develop viable business ideas.
  • To organize workshops, boot camps, and mentorship programs on entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • To collaborate with industry experts, incubators, and funding agencies for startup support.
  • To guide students in preparing business plans and participating in entrepreneurship competitions.
  • To promote the “Start-up India” and “Make in India” initiatives among youth.

Activities Held in E-Cell

1. Guest Lecture on Social Entrepreneur and Sustainable Growth:-

A guest lecture on “Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Growth” was held on 28th October 2022 at the RRGI Campus. The session highlighted how entrepreneurship can be used as a tool for social change and sustainable development. The speaker shared practical insights on balancing profit with social responsibility. The lecture helped students understand how innovative ideas can solve real-world problems and inspired future entrepreneurs to create businesses that contribute to both economic growth and social welfare.       

2. G-20 Global Summit:-

The G-20 Global Summit, held from 10th to 12th February 2023 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, served as a significant platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration among global leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs. The summit focused on economic growth, digital transformation, and sustainable development, offering valuable insights into global business trends and startup opportunities. For aspiring entrepreneurs, the event provided exposure to international markets, modern business strategies, and government initiatives supporting innovation. It encouraged young minds to think globally, adopt sustainable practices, and contribute to India’s vision of becoming a hub for entrepreneurship and inclusive growth.

3. Visit on India Solar Expo and India EV Expo :-

A visit to the India Solar Expo and India EV Expo was organized on 26th March 2023 at IIA Bhawan, Lucknow. The event showcased the latest innovations in solar energy and electric vehicle technology. Students and aspiring entrepreneurs gained valuable exposure to emerging trends in renewable energy and sustainable mobility. The visit helped them understand business opportunities in the green technology sector and inspired them to develop innovative, eco-friendly solutions that support sustainable entrepreneurship and future growth.

4. Guest Lecture on Emerging Technologies and Impact on Human Resources:-

A Guest Lecture on “Emerging Technologies and Their Impact on Human Resources” was held on 17th June 2023 at RRGI Campus. The session highlighted how innovations like AI, automation, and digital tools are transforming HR practices. Students learned about the changing skill requirements, talent management strategies, and opportunities for tech-driven solutions in HR. The lecture helped aspiring entrepreneurs and future professionals understand how to leverage technology to enhance workforce efficiency and drive organizational growth.           

5. Guest Lecture on Industry 4.0:-

A Guest Lecture on “Industry 4.0” was held on 14th September 2023 at RRGI Campus. The lecture focused on the latest advancements in automation, IOT, artificial intelligence, and smart manufacturing. Students gained insights into how Industry 4.0 is transforming production processes and creating new business opportunities. The session helped aspiring entrepreneurs understand the importance of adopting advanced technologies to improve efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness in the modern industrial landscape.

6. Guest Lecture on Transforming Industries: CFD and Molecular Modeling for Entrepreneurial Mindset:-

A Guest Lecture on “Transforming Industries: CFD and Molecular Modeling for Entrepreneurial Mindset” was held on 25th November 2023 at RRGI Campus. The session introduced students to advanced simulation techniques like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and molecular modeling, highlighting their applications in product design and innovation. It encouraged an entrepreneurial mindset by showing how these technologies can help develop efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solutions, inspiring students to explore new business opportunities in engineering and technology-driven industries.

7. Industrial visit at National Bureau of First Genetic Resources:- 

An industrial visit to the National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR) was organized on 7th February 2024 at the NBFGR Campus. During the visit, students observed advanced research in fish genetics, breeding, and conservation techniques. The experience provided practical knowledge of biotechnology applications and inspired students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities in aquaculture, fisheries management, and sustainable resource development.

8. The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of our college successfully organized an educational visit to the Innovation Hub Cell at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on 11 November 2025. The visit was conducted under the guidance of the Convener, and enthusiastic participation was observed from the students. The primary objective of this visit was to expose students to the startup ecosystem, innovation culture, and entrepreneurial opportunities available at the university level. During the visit, students explored various startup chambers, where several innovative ideas were being transformed into real-world solutions. The students also had an opportunity to interact with young entrepreneurs, who shared their personal journeys, challenges, and experiences in building startups. These interactions were highly motivating and provided valuable insights into innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship. In addition, the students visited advanced laboratory facilities, where they learned about modern tools, technologies, and research infrastructure supporting innovation and product development. The facilities left a strong impression on the students and enhanced their understanding of practical applications of technical knowledge.
